This vegan alfredo sauce is unbelievably delicious, creamy, cashew-based, non-dairy, and yet has a deliciously savory, cheese-like flavor.
It is an excellent substitute for cheesy, creamy sauces.
1 cup of raw cashew nuts, (soaked overnight and drained)
1 medium cup of water
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 medium onion – chopped
2 tablespoons yeast
1 tsp salt
1/3 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1- Let the cashew nuts dry after soaking for at least 6 hours.
2- Put all ingredients in a strong blender and mix well.
3- Use in a recipe.
